Froreo!

So today, I was craving for something sweet and luckily, I found this pancake mix at home. But.. I'm bored of pancakes already so I decided to make froreo (deep-fried oreo). The first time I saw froreo was on the Pizz* H*t's ad in a Transjakarta bus. Since I didn't have the time to eat at Pizza Hut, so I looked for the recipe on the internet.

It's really simple actually. We just need to make the pancake batter according to the instructions, then add some oreos into the batter and deep-fry it and it's done! Don't forget to chill the oreos first in the refrigerator before making those froreos.

Simple ingredients, easy to make, really addicting and the best thing is it's oreo! Things never go wrong with oreo XD

Pasar Santa

Finally I had a chance to visit one of the hippiest place to eat in Jakarta right now, Pasar Santa. Yeay! I took a taxi from Blok M and it costs about Rp20.000 to go to Pasar Santa. Pasar Santa is actually a modern market located at Jl. Cisanggiri II. Since it's a market, don't expect that it's equipped by AC because no-- it's just as hot as the other markets. Since I arrived at about 3 p.m, it was still not too crowded. I had browsed for the good-reviewed stalls on Zomato before so I was not really confused about what to eat. So these are what I found~ (Sorry but I'm not good at describing food -3-)

Choco Jaffa Choux - Sepotong Kue @ Rp20.000

A choux pastry served with homemade Choco Jaffa ice cream, topped with cherry, drizzled with chocolate syrup and sprinkled with nuts. The ice cream is sweet and a bit bitter which is quite good and everything else is okay.

Claypot Rice - Claypot Popo @ Rp25.000

A claypot rice dish with chicken (or beef), carrot, corn, thick tofu soup and raw (or cooked) egg. I was really curious about this stall because the reviews on Zomato said that it's really good. The stallkeeper gave me the dish after it had cooled down. No words can't describe the deliciousness of this dish. IT'S REALLY GOOD!! It isn't like your regular Chinese food. You should definitely try it if you come to Pasar Santa. Very very recommended! 

Ice Cream Waffle - ZuckerWaffle @ Rp30.000

Original (or green tea) waffle with vanilla (or chocolate/green tea) ice cream and whip cream, drizzled with rum raisin (or chocolate) syrup and sprinkled with caramelized nuts (or chocolate chip/M&M). They said that the original waffle tastes like batter but when I tried it, it didn't taste like batter at all- maybe something is wrong with my tounge lol. BUT, overall it tastes quite good. And maybe I should try the waffle with other toppings and syrup since I'm not a big fan of raisins and caramelized nuts.

Chicken Quesadilla - Quesadilla!! @ Rp38.000

Chicken Quesadilla. I mistook Quesadilla!! for the other Mexican food stall in Pasar Santa, but because I had placed my order, I couldn't cancel it lol. I think the price of this food is too expensive and they need to give more seasoning to the food and more sauce.

Since my stomach was full already, I couldn't try the other food. So that's all. Thank you for reading :3
